Erika Merz

Erika Merz (she/her) founder of Rise Up with H’ART, is a Seattle based visionary artist, Energy Dancer, facilitator and activist. Her work is inspired by the way she experiences divine energy – especially in expanded states cosmic energy work on the dance floor, – and by movements for social change.

She’ll be creating an art-altar installation again at Imagine this year, inviting you to visualize and embody the images as a guide to tap into your own expansive connection with infinite Source energy. People often have spiritually activating experiences with her art, describing them as portals to access divine states within themselves.

Rooted in the vision of a thriving, liberatory world, Erika uses her art and Energy Dance Ceremonies to help people unlearn the “illness” of colonial and supremacist culture, and re-learn the ancient, spiritual wisdom we all carry within. She believes that reclaiming our innate abilities to channel and wield divine energy, is a crucial asset in working towards radical culture change.
