Holy Grail Games will be bringing a brand new edition of this classic roll and move rally game by Jean-Christophe Bouvier to Kickstarter on July 2nd 2020.
After the success of Rallyman: GT, this new edition will be taking Rallyman back to its roots, combining the original Rallyman and its Dirt expansion into one lean, mean rally game. Similarly to GT, players will still be using a mixture of different types of dice to move their cars along the track. However, instead of competing directly against one another, Rallyman: Dirt will have players up against the clock, attempting to complete each stage of the circuit as quickly as possible. The player with the best time wins!
The new edition will feature gorgeous new artwork and upgraded components that match the quality of those in Rallyman: GT, while including classic mechanics such as jumping, skidding, and cutting corners from the original game. On top of its new visual design, it will replace the large rectangular map sections of its predecessor with hexagonal tiles to allow players to recreate iconic tracks from the first game, or put together their own unique circuits.
Several expansions will be available, including one that will make the new edition of Rallyman: Dirt fully compatible with GT, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities for fans!
The response we’ve had for Rallyman: GT has been amazing, and since then, we’ve been hard at work trying to grow the community with online events, forums, and the Rallyman newsletter Flat Out!. With this new edition of Rallyman: Dirt, we hope to grow the community even more by honouring a truly iconic racing game in a way that will make fans of the original really happy!
